A Time For Prayer….September 11th….For The Whole World!

Wednesday, September 09, 2009

There are many needs throughout the world…. In America we will be standing together to pray for our country, on September 11th!

No matter where you live in the world you too can have a supernatural encounter with God by joining together to pray for your Nation.

I have had a couple of calls, and a few emails about praying ‘judgment’ or the ‘destruction of those who oppose the things of God.’  well, those comments drive me to my knees and grieve my spirit soooooo much.

We must look to our Covenant with Jesus–”If you love Me,keep my commandments.” John 14:15

Two of Jesus closest friends (disciples)had a conversation with Jesus: “And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But Jesus turned, and rebuked them, and said, ‘Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them’.”

Plus, a convicting verse by Paul, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Rom 12:21

Peter added, “Honour all men, Love the brotherhood. Fear God Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.” I Peter 2:17-18

We might have to stand physically for what we believe, in the future, but never the less, prayer is the answer–spiritual warfare–but from the heart of Jesus as He directed at the end of Matthew, end of Mark, Luke 10:19, James 2:13 and 4:7….and more!

God bless us everyone and give us mercy, grace and the ability to repent, forgive love the sinner, even as we hate the sin.

Love in our Jesus,

Carol

P S The hardest thing to do is to love people the way they are not the way we want them; only God can change the heart! And, He needs our prayers to do that! Declare what we want; calling those things that are not as though they are. Rom 4:17; Heb 4:14

Right Wing Pro-Life Terrorist Revealed….

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Many were astounded, as was I, this week as a report was released in which the Director of HomeLand Security named among others….’right wing pro-life’ people to be terrorists….all terrorist considered dangerous and to be watched closely.

I looked up the meaning of terrorist and found a lot….let me share a little of that:  out of over 100 definitions they (a study group)  concludes that the ‘only general characteristic generally agreed upon is that terrorism involves violence and the threat of violence.’ Yet terrorism is hardly the only enterprise involving violence and the threat of violence. So does war, coercive diplomacy, and bar room brawls.” Hence depending on the perspective of the state a resistance movement may or may not be labelled terrorist group based on whether the members of a resistance movement are considered lawful or unlawful combatants and their right to resist occupation  is recognized. Ultimately, the distinction is a political judgment.

If, indeed, ‘right wing pro-life’ people are terrorists then it is very easy to identify their leader.  His Name is Jesus Christ. He was known to say–actually recorded for thousands of years–”Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones (children); for I say unto you that in Heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” and “But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the dept of the sea.”

Yet, Jesus was also the First to forgive sin, and offer redemption; i.e. peace, love and joy for those who opposed Him.  Seems an unlikely leader of a ‘terrorist group’?  Yet, that is the accusation in the report from the White House.

This is not an accusation against a group of people but against the very Lord of Glory, Son of God, King of Kings because all who follow Him are part of Him.  Who in their right mind would come against the most honored revered loved Man in all of History?  The spirit of stupid must have moved into the White House.

I am not of course defending those individuals who also were caught up in the ’spirit of stupid, death and violence’ who bombed abortion clinics or took out their rage on individuals…..even followers of Jesus can be deceived.

Those who believe in moral boundaries that protect all peoples, those who value and believe in life from conception, those who have received the forgiving Grace of God, and truly follow the commandments of Jesus are told by Him, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despite-fully use you, and persecute you;”

Nuts!  That includes the director of HomeLand Security….and I am having trouble doing that right now.  However, I will, because it is a discipline….a decision of my will, not my emotions.

Jesus did say, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:”  What better way to divide and destroy our country than to have our leaders accuse (with veiled threats) the supporters of the sanctity of life?  Because we do not agree with others does not mean that we destroy each other as though we were the enemy.

Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”  That sounds down right inflammatory if a person does not understand that Jesus is talking of the supernatural realm that we are all a part of, and His kind of force is prayer.  Amazingly Jesus spoke to this situation 2000 years ago….now there is a leader we can truly follow.

There may be times when we must physically defend our country….but defend ourselves from our own leaders?  What is wrong with this picture?  President Obama, why do we not have a military person, who has personally faced the threat of loss of life and limb, in charge of HomeLand Security?  Someone who truly understands covert operations, not spending time and tax money on watching people who are defending religious freedom?

Paul, a man who knew Jesus well, said, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”  Good advice!  Quick to forgive those who know not what they do–forcefully praying against the spirits behind such deception and division.

I have said for years, if I were an Atheist, or a Muslim, or Hindu, or any other religion, living in America, out of a desire to believe whatever I chose to believe, I would want Christians in charge of the country because they will fight to protect the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.   This has been one Nation Under God, and  to insure that it will remain so will require prayer, unity of purpose (if not in doctrine), and quickly responding to the words of Jesus Christ, to keep the freedoms we have so lavishly enjoyed.

A Brief Look At Japan’s Reaction to Our Inaguration….

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

I thought others might enjoy this personal email I received:

Dear Carol,Just found your site in the past week. Looking forward to reading it.

I am a tall redhead from Canada, living in a suburb north of Japan’s second largest city, Osaka!

On the evening news a few hours ago, the enthusiam, hope and dreams for the incoming US President B.Obama is just outpouring everywhere.

Naturally, the

biggest hope is that Mr. O. will “fix” the world ecomomic situation PDQ– for J.people.

There’s even a city in Japan named “Obama” –on the Japanese Sea.

Apparently, a sleepy fishing town looking for a way to revive itself financially.

Seems the town’s people have learned the “hula” and are all dancing enthusiastically! It may be 5 or 6 degrees outdoors, but these people are basking in warm hopes — of what’s going to start in a few hours.

They’ve prepared an exquisite calligraghy to send to congratulate the incoming president.

Sorry, the ceremonies will start about 1:30 am. here & I have to leave to teach by 7 am. Argh!

So I’ll see the reruns tomorrow night! We’re 14 hours ahead of EST district.

God Bless America & all the caring people of the world.

Somehow this ALL feels so reminiscent of the start of the Kennedy administration!

I was just starting H.S. — telling my age! Yes, our prayers are SO needed — in a world we’ve NO idea what wonders The Lord is working out!

Religious And Aethists Rejoice!

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

This, the day we celebrate a new President, who speaks of common humanity, everyone regardless of religion or none at all can have peace.  No matter what you believe, in a society established upon the precepts of a Christian Bible Belief allows for freedom for everyone to believe, operate and do as they choose–as long as it does not harm others.

The prayer for this Inauguration was that of a Christian Pastor; the oaths given ended in “So help me God!”  That allow everyone the freedom to choose.  God gives us that choice–should we do less?  So, for hopefully four years….all freedom in our country is yet established.

I did not personally vote for this President because of my own faith, and belief in the protection of the ‘unborn’ –but now I must bend my knee to pray for this new President, his cabinet, his family that God will be an influence in his life, his work, and to protect our Nation.  Respect for President Barak Obama far exceeds the man, but respect for the office of President of our county, and my love for my country.

And, as I watched all the festivities tears came to my eyes many times–so significant that we finally have a Black American in the White House–may it be even more than we can hope for or imagine.  Yesterday I watched a short recap of the civil rights movement.  I personally did not experience much of what took place, however, I truly did have many tears as I thought of what the Black community in America suffered, how they fought for what is truly right and just, and how exciting this new President is and should be, to all of us.

Forgiveness must be foremost in the minds and hearts of Christians everywhere because leaders world wide are human and susceptible to temptation, to greed, to fame and only prayer will protect us.  Only God can change the hearts and minds of man….”For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending only with physical opponents), but against despotisms, against the powers , against (the power spirits who are) the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.”  Ephesians 6:12 Amp.

May God help America…..God bless America and all who govern.

The Answer: Israel, Humas, Palestinian Victims Can Receive….

Wednesday, January 07, 2009

This solution may seem naive, but not to those of us who see miracles through prayer and understanding the spirit realm is far greater than the physical.  I was reading some of the book of Isaiah this morning and found this scripture:

“The Lord has made bare His Holy Arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.”  52:10  It says all nations…..’His Holy Arm’  is Jesus….the ends of all the earth include….whoa…..all the earth!   So salvation is for all the earth….duh….we knew that, right!

We who do know the Savior must lead the fight for Israel, for all in the middle east in prayer.  We are told to pray for the peace of Israel.  There is more, much more.  Jesus said, “If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.”

Just how did he do that?  First He paid for our sins, then declared, “Forgive them Father, they know not what they do!”  He set ‘forgiveness’ in motion, not as a ‘humanaterian’ act but as a law unto God, to be used in the world to bring love, joy and peace with mercy and grace to all mankind…..as many as follow Jesus can use this spiritual weapon of warfare.  Love and forgiveness are so sonorous it is hard to tell the difference at times as both work miracles.

As long as we take sides (spiritually) and judge Humas, or any other terrorist group, we have grounded our prayers in judgment, and the loving affect is gone.  In the physical world we must fight to preserve in what ever way is possible, hoping to use mercy and grace in doing so…..we can leave that to the world and those who are in charge and care for their own people (Presidents, Generals, Dictators, etc.).

But, we who want to win the eternal war will heed the words of Paul to the Romans, “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.”  Rom 16:20

In prayer we have the privilege to forgive (John 20:23), to rid ourselves of judgment (Matt 7:12) and demand the enemy loose the captives (Isaiah 61), declaring peace over them and the Spirit of Prophecy–Jesus  (Revelation 19:10) be released over them, and they are blessed with all the gifts of the Holy Spirit–love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. (Gal 5:22).

It is mind-boggling to think we have this awesome power–however–we do!  The power of the tongue is life or death, condemnation or liberation!

Years ago friends from Israel told us of many Jewish people who were actually getting a ‘visitation’ from Jesus calling them into faith.  All things are possible with God!

We must Pray prayers that bring Life; pray for protection for all the people from the results of the on-going war; bind the spirits of death, violence and mayhem over both countries (Matt 16:18,19), and pray spiritual protection over ourselves that there will be no retaliation for our intercession!  No matter what the country or nationality Jesus is the answer to world peace, prosperity and well being!
